Specifying a forward proxy server
A forward proxy is the most common form of a proxy and is generally used to pass requests out to the Internet through a firewall. You need to set up both your browser (Internet Explorer or Netscape Navigator) and the applet to use proxies.
Note:
Contact your system administrator to find out what type of proxy server your
site uses. If your system administrator has not given you proxy settings, skip
these steps.
