Understanding the Basic  Cardiology Workflow

There are four broad steps in the  Cardiology workflow:

1. Search for studies

The first step in using  is to search for relevant studies with which to work.

1. Select a combination of search criteria or use a wizard.
2. Click Search for Studies.

2. MPEG Player

After the results are listed from the search, you can view MPEG "movies" to track blood flow in the body.

1. Watch MPEGs.

3. Display images and reports

You can also view the images for the listed studies or any associated reports.

1. Select studies from the Display list.
2. Display study images.
3. Browse through series and studies.
4. Retrieve a report.

4. Manipulate images or conference with colleagues

When viewing images you can manipulate them or collaborate with other users on your system by sending messages to your colleagues.

1. Transform images and create markup measurements.
2. Initiate or join a conference.
3. Send and receive messages.
