Locating Studies on a Remote PACS
A remote PACS device is any DICOM device that can store images, such as an archive or cached review station. You can search a remote PACS device for a list of studies that match a set of search constraints. While searching a remote PACS, the images stored there may be retrieved by the Serverso that you can view them in your web browser.
Note: When querying a remote PACS for a
modality, you must include a second query constraint to further narrow the search
results. A query on a modality could cause performance problems due to the large
volume of studies at the sites.
