Searching and retrieving a specific study, series, or image from a remote location
Using traditional methods to search remote locations for a specific image can take a few minutes and returns the entire study. The study then resides in the web cache, taking up valuable space. By using Image Query Retrieve, you can expand the DICOM tree and locate the specific study, series or image to retrieve to your web cache. The selected series or image is retrieved rather than the whole study. Depending on your needs, the entire study, series or just one image can be selected and saved into your web cache.
