Creating search wizards to automate your searches

After you select your search criteria and constraints, use the Wizard tool to save those settings. Options are available to have the wizard listed when the program starts, as well as to launch the Display page immediately after the search is complete.

To create a search wizard

  1. From the Study page, select your search criteria from the drop-down lists.
  2. See Search Criteria for more information on the search criteria and constraints.

  3. Select your search constraints based on the criteria you have selected.
  4. Click New Wizard.
  5. The New Wizard dialog opens.

  6. Type a name for the wizard in the Wizard Name box.
  7. Check the necessary options:
  8. Click OK.
  9. The new wizard appears below the main toolbar as a button with the name you assigned.
