: ActiveX is not turned on
When I launched , I received a message indicating that my security settings prevent ActiveX from running and the page may not display properly.
If ActiveX is disabled, the software cannot detect if the MPEG components or DirectX are installed. For those licensed to view MPEGs, without DirectX and the MPEG components, you will not be able to view them correctly, if at all. By enabling ActiveX, you will be prompted to install the correct components if they are required.
Enable ActiveX.
To enable ActiveX
Note:
Ensure you select Prompt and not Enable.
After you have enabled ActiveX and installed the required DirectX and MPEG components, you may want to disable ActiveX. To disable ActiveX, follow the steps above, changing Prompt to Disable. If you leave ActiveX enabled, you may receive prompts to download and install non-secure software.
