Saving images to your local hard drive
Save an image to your local disk as a JPEG image if you have made modification to the image and want to save the changes. Image files are named according to the following convention:
PatientID_AccessionID_SeriesNumber_ImageNumber.jpg
If any of the fours fields are missing, a null value of zero is used as a place holder. If a filename already exists in your folder, an incremental index number is automatically added to the file name. You can also give the image a meaningful, recognizable name: johndoe.jpg.
To save an image to your local hard drive
The standard Save File dialog for your operating system appears.
Note:
When saving images as JPEG, all the demographic information is stripped.
